Title: Foreign Special Professional with Expertise in Sports Ch

Content: Basis:
Subparagraph 2, Article 4 of the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals

Notice:
Foreign Special Professionals Possessing Special Expertise in the Field of Sport must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Have served as a national team athlete, possess outstanding skills that will help raise the level of competitiveness of sport in Taiwan, and have achieved one of the following accomplishments:
(1) Top six finish at the Olympic Games in an official sport.
(2) Top two finish at the Asian Games in an official sport.
(3) First place at the World Games in an official sport.
(4) First place in a world championships in a sport on the program of the Olympic Games, Asian Games or World Games.

2. Have served as a national team coach, guided athletes to achieve excellent results and will help raise the level of sport competitiveness in Taiwan, and have achieved one of following accomplishments:
(1) Top six finish at the Olympic Games in an official sport.
(2) Top two finish at the Asian Games in an official sport.
(3) First place at the World Games in an official sport.
(4) First place in a world championships in a sport on the program of the Olympic Games, Asian Games or World Games.

3. Have served as a referee at an Olympic Games, Asian Games or World Games for an official sport and will help raise the level of sport competitiveness in Taiwan.

4. The applicant previously had or currently holds a position in the sports industry in a foreign country or in the Republic of China, has recommended by a Specific Sports Association or by a professional sports organization for which the competent industry authority is the Ministry of Education, and has the potential to make a contribution to our sports industry.
